Dimensions of a 1942 c15 (cab 13)

Hineveryone,
I may be avle to finally acquire a cmp, namely C15.
It has a small crane (jib?) in the back for lifting ammo crates.
I keep reading that a vehicle like that fits a standard garage.
Can anyone give me the exact metric measurements of a vehicle like that?
I have this fear that it is to high to fit through the door of my garage...
Thanks so much!

Markwin,

Thanks for your email. Here are the dimensions I found CMP 15-cwt dimensions: height to cab roof?.
I do not have the dimensions for a C15 at hand, but I do not think it is much lower so it will not fit under the standard garage door as found in many Dutch homes.

HTH,
Hanno

...but then there's always this option :D

Holy moly dont forget to duck indeed :)
Thanks for your quick reply!
Just measured the garage door and guess what...it's 2.10m :(
20 cm short! ....aargh

Know a HUP will not fit in standard garage

Hi

It is one of those things that you really need to measure twice and drive in once. Had to build a new garage bay when I got the HUP, then had to build a new shop to get the C60S with radio box which is 10'6" tall.

Liked the picture cabless and windscreen removed to clear door, yea it would hurt if you don't duck.

Cheers Phil

Is it a 4x2 or a 4x4, the 4x2 is serious lower, I can have a look at the height of the 4x2.

Hendrik

Hello Hendrik, it is a 4x2... Would be great if you could, mthanks!

Bob Carriere 24-06-15 23:36

Height.....

.............in the AEDB records shows the 4x4 at 97 inches....... no mention of the 4x2

Doors on my barn had to be increased to 9 feet to allow 4x4 and HUP to enter safely.... a sea container of 8x8 will not fit a HUP with 10:50x16 tires.....

Cheers

Sorry for our Dutch folks, just discussing measurements... :smoker:
