pintle hook spring brackets

hello, i am looking for a set of brackets which hold the leaf spring of the pintle hook. I need the 4 brackets which go inside the frame beams. Is there someone out there who can help me with these.

greetings Rob

You'll have to be more specific. There's more than one type.

hello David,

oh wasn't aware of that. They choppen of the backend of the frame so i had to reproduce this piece including the the complete tow hook bit.
The frame is of a late '44 or '45 F15a and i am looking voor the ones which are bolted inside the frame members, with the big 50mm hole in it and are casted.
Hopefully this gives some more info.

cheers Rob

Hi Rob,

I know I have one side, I will have a look through the spares and see what I can find.

They don't use any rubber pads. Here's a picture of the kind that hangs below the frame.

If you can afford the postage from Australia, you can have the brackets in the picture for a small reasonable sum .... :)

I could also cut off and give you the missing end pieces to your chassis as well.

Here are all of the components very similar to the set-up in Cletracs photo. I recall these came of a 60CWT. ... Brian

...and now......

....just insert into a large envelope and mail to Australia....or for the same money buy a fully restored Blitz locally.

When are we going to get those Star War digital teletransporters.....?

Cheers
