Canadian Valentines
I'm looking for any info about the fender top and turret rear layout of the Canadian Valentine Mk.VII.
Are there any production photos out there ? How did the Mk.VIIa differ from the Mk.VII ? And what shipping stencils did the vehicles receive on their way to Russia ? Any help highly appreciated. Regards, Oliver [www.o5m6.de] PS : What I assume could be the front view of a Mk.VII : http://www.o5m6.de/pics/Valentine_MkVII_newsgroup.jpg |
NAC Photos
There are many photos of the Valentine Tank on the web site of the National Archives of Canada.

Canadian Mk.VII
John,
thanks for the links, impressive shots. To be more precise, I'm looking for information on the later production Mk.VII, like the follwing : http://www.o5m6.de/pics/MkVII_Witebsk_March_1944.jpg Mk.VII, Witebsk March 1944 http://www.o5m6.de/pics/MkVII_Alagir...s_Nov_1942.jpg Mk.VII, Alagir, Northern Caucasus, November 1942 Regards, Oliver. |
Found some more pics of Valentines on the Eastern Front at WWII.co.uk, not sure if these are Canadian-built ones, though.
