Copied from Ford Blitz Restoration/Rebuild for easy reference:
  • 81T 3115 is the part number for just the king pin (listed as "Bolt-spindle") with a length of 7.10
  • 81T 3123A is the "Bearing-spindle bolt (Timken #T113 and Nice #5883)"
  • 81T 3111 is the part number for king pin kit, 2 pins and all the necessary parts, these fit the following: Ford trucks 1938-1947 all 1-1/2 ton models except 122" wheelbase.
These numbers are still valid to search for sources of parts today.

The Ford pilot truck (1939 built but given a 1940 model year) used the same kingpins I believe. I was able to get the full kit from Mac's. Turned out it was old stock, and not modern production. I would recommend using the long reamer they sell so the upper and lower bushings will be bore aligned.

"81-T" was the Ford model designation for the 1938 134" wb. 1½ Ton Truck.

So the Ford CMP prototype most likely would have used parts from their heaviest truck line, as would the rest of the CMP trucks (at least the 15-cwt 4x2).
