Fake Fb group
 

Yes I deleted the link posted onto mine and let Rene know he was on the fake page.

The owner of the fake was banned from my CMP Facebook page for being abusive and he is also NOT a member of MLU.

He stole Hanno's profile image which makes it a bit difficult to work out which is the real one... the fake was started 15 December 2015 and has posts by a person spelling his name backwards.

It had me fooled.

There is at least one more Maple Leaf Up on FB, using our logo. I created a profile page for MLU to have a presence there. I now found out a person (profile) can create a group page which is what I have done to represent MLU - see the link above. I will change the profile page to represent myself.

The FB group page is not there to replace this forum, as I find FB to have an instantaneous and momentary character. It serves a purpose, but it is different from this forum.

Not to mention that there are a few off us left who have no use for FB!
