Cold Lake Air Show - Jul 16/17 2016
 

I’ve been in touch with one of the organizers for the upcoming air show and they informed me that a car show is being considered as part of the entertainment. They’ve had them in the past and they're a proven crowd pleaser. They were very interested in having my M38 there for display and/or VIP transport if the need presents itself. I mentioned that there were a group of MV enthusiasts that may be interested willing to show off their vehicles. A Vintage Military Vehicle Display got them excited as there are plans for modern equipment to be displayed. The team that dismantles a jeep in under 4 minutes has been invited as well. That being said, I ask that you PM me if you're interested in considering coming up to show off your MV. Nothing is concrete yet; just trying to gauge interest. Hey Peter, My company is doing sound at the event. I will make a point of coming over and seeing you and your MV. Last time I was there they had a CDN Humvee and a simulated Soviet missile launcher. I will be set up at show center with the announcer.

Hi Dano, that sounds like a plan. I'll keep you posted on what comes of this.

I've finally got the forms sent to me for anyone wishing to attend the 2016 Cold Lake Air Show/Car Show. They are looking for any and all MV's! Please email me at peter.phillips@huskyenergy.com and I'll forward you the application form and info. Sorry for the fast ball but I'll need them all back to me by May 31st if possible. Feel free to disseminate this to anyone who may not be affiliated with the MVPA Edmonton Group or the Prairie Motor Brigade in Calgary.
