My advice in these situations is that half the world is women....there is another out there waiting for you. I know I have managed to trade up.
Of course, you can only divide your stuff in half so many times before you are left with very little. So whether you are looking at it as an ending, or a new beginning, best of luck to you Richard. |
Richard, my grandfather sang a song that had words to the effect:
Be kind to the first, cause the next may be worse, and you'll long for the old one again. I took it to heart and have been married 37 years and she hasn't thrown me out so far. :D Anyhow, on a more serious note,my friend. I wish for you the least amount of pain, :salute: Years ago the was a bloke in town here with a very nice Mach 1 Mustang. She wanted half, and I cannot remember for the life of me, which side she got. You're probably better off with half the money. Good luck with the sale. |
I am trying to save the marriage, one of the stipulations is that the carrier must go
|
Been divorced twice, on my third marrige for the last 15 years.
Without really knowing the personalities involved, I would have to say it is a big red flag if the spouse insists you get rid of something that fires you up with interest. (as long as it isn't something illegal! :nono:) You may find that you are better off calling it the end of the book and starting a new one for your life. I am glad I did! |
Good on ya Richard, save your marriage! No vehicle is as important as that.
MVs are just steel, rubber, glass, & plastic. No matter how much you love them, they don't reciprocate. Besides... once you two get things sorted, you can always get another one. Chuck |
Good luck on your sale Richie
You need a wife like mine got fifty years in and she somehow puts up with me A real sweetheart There is always a little give and take but she almost always wins :giveup |
Carrier now sold, new owner will be along at some point to introduce himself.
|
Congratulations on the sale Richie! Even if it is with a bleeding heart. But as I told you in Normandy your marriage is more important than any military vehicle.
Cheers, |
keep the carrier, ditch the wife
glad you sold it, a little bit of money flowing in from the green machine is always a welcome change |
