Mustang crash in Tassie.
 
Luck escape with landing gear problems. Lets hope the damage is not too bad.

Good nobody was hurt but that's not a Mustang but a homebuilt aircraft resembling a Mustang and with a Chevy V8 engine.

Agree with ^^ that it is a homebuilt. The originals are much bigger (and the story would have been inflated proportionately). The narrative makes it seem like a little deal too.

Gravity sucks baby. All airplanes want to crash. Floatplanes and retractable gear just want to do it every time, and the pilot's job is to keep tricking them into landing as per the flight plan.
