1940 Type 11 cab Doors and Engine Cover

For the Chevrolet CMP I need both doors and engine covers. Anything over second gear and the fan and tires kick up alot of dust and rocks, very distracting especially with no doors :smoker:

And if any of you more astute readers see anything else missing, and you have it for sale, I would be interested in that also.

I changed the tire this weekend and when I saw how good the brakes looked, I decided to press on with fixing this truck up.
I am a professional mechanic and automotive painter so a very good restoration is within my reach. Having rebuilt many large trucks, I know that a runner that moves is a very good starting point. But I will rebuild the motor regardless, or ideally replace it with the proper 216 ci.

And it was registered and driven in Sask and I have the old plate, so I am going to register it and use it on the roads.

Maybe there is some parts in Saskatchewan for sale? or Manitoba. So I can make a fun road trip out of the deal. And I never have any luck dealing east of the Manitoba border, plus its too far.
Any parts west of Moose Jaw, so I can take pics of the CMP on display in that fine city while I pass by?

Thanks in advance for all the help I know I will receive.
Rick :smoker:

Love the photos, Rick especially the cat and your feet - that narrow cab sure is a challenge!
Good luck in finding the missing parts and I'm looking forward to following your restoration.

These the sort of parts you're after? Shame I'm east of the Manitoba border.

(50-50 chance the tank would be the right one)

Hint, hint...
Shipping via Greyhound is quick and inexpensive for large oddball items like these..

They look good, I would definitely like to buy them and get them out west. I will send you a email.
