OMVA Fall Show Sat. October 1st
 

The OMVA Fall Show this year will be held Oct. 1st at the regular location
at the Royal Canadian Legion #197 on Wright Ave. in Acton.
Doors open for dealers and swappers at 0700 in the morning.
OMVA members and guests enter from 0800 hours.
Tables are, as usual $20 and admission to non-members $8.00.
Any military related items may be displayed or for sale BUT ...NO
Live weapons or ammunition.
The Show ends, as usual at 12 Noon, so everyone can get home
to their families at an early hour and drive safely.
Please contact the writer if you want to set up a table or display
a vehicle.

Coffee will be available. Maybe Brian A. will provide Timbits.

I would like to have a table - I can bring my own 4x8 ft. Can I pay when I arrive? Will try to be there on time but from Kingston a bit of a challenge! Will have some Ford CMP bits plus a few MB plus some Dodge.

I will be vending at the swap this weekend. Something for everyone, I have done some digging through items which are surplus to my needs.
I will be bringing an assortment of jerrycans, WW2 US, post war and German.
C42 radios and gear, M38A1 canvas doors, side curtains parts.
NOS cargo cover canvas (M800 series 5 ton) and a pile of other stuff.

I won't be there this fall, to many people offering far less than half of what items are worth, I guess many think I should lose money so they can get what they want, so no set up for me. I have stopped doing shows for the past while and am doing much better in clearing out my tons of military stuff by having people come over to see whats there, Easier for me and lots of stuff getting out of my large basement
However Brad will be there

i will be there this year. First time I have made the fall event. Looking forward to it. Tidbits from BA...could happen.

MK-I* Bits at the Fall Show
 

I will be attending the Fall Show. I will be bringing some MK-I* bits left over from my carrier projects if anyone is interested. As well, I am looking for a set of Iltis thermostats for a friend. See you Saturday.

Thank you to Peter, his missus and others who organized and attended the OMVA Fall Swap yesterday.
Although the turnout was a little light and a few of the regular vendors were absent, it was still a nice day and great to meet up with old friends.
