10 hour C60S drive

Hi

Just got back from club fall foliage tour, 10 hours and 250+/- miles including stops in Beauty my C60S radio truck, over the back roads of New Hampshire and Vermont, great fall colors. You just have watch out for covered bridges when leader is driving a M151.

Pictures and videos to follow, right now need my ice packs, and a nice relaxing drink, should stop bouncing up and down by bead time.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you up north.

Cheers Phil

Hi All

Trees have really changed but our tour colors were kind of muted as it was overcast. Something to keep in mine during group touring is the height and weight of you vehicle, because the lead vehicle may not take this into account.

Cover bridge we arrived at a historic bridge height limit 9'2" my truck is 10'6" meant Y turn in the narrow road and a five mile back track. Weight as not a problem, when we got to the other end we found no truck signs but a different height listed.

This is the second time this has happened to me on a Fall Foliage Tour. Trip leaders like covered bridges but forget that some people drive larger trucks. All good fun stop traffic turn truck around and start over.

But lots of fun stopping at an OctoberFest, and Apple Orchard, small parking lots filled with lots of cars make finding parking spaces difficult.

Shot lots of GoPro video of the trip will try and edit and get some of it posted. Was trying a new head mounted camera so will be interesting to see if it makes more interesting video.

Cheers Phil
