Unusual canvas gun cover

Any ideas on this cover: likely WW2 Canadian or British. No markings. About 40" from barrel tip to sloping rear of gun then added tail length. The barrel leather tip is 2.5" diameter.

If I had to guess I would say for the M1919 Browning GPMG. The cutouts on the bottom would match the openings for a T&E and Pintle, and the length is about right for a GPMG.

Here is a canvas version: http://www.ima-usa.com/u-s-wwii-1919...gun-cover.html

A good lead Rob. Thank you. I'll compare it with one of my WW2 American .30 cal Browning AA covers. It is just that this cover seemed for a much bulkier gun.
