Thanks Mike What is the DLX - deluxe with a truck?? or a colour code or DULUX He says it has an "undercoat" of light yellow or cream overpainted by brush sort of brown. Lang |

Dlx DLX = Dulux . Just found this: PTKN is also listed for Chevrolet 1940-41 and 46 and Oldsmobile 1939-40 sedans . BTW the number for PTKN is 7550 The army vehicles usually had (DLX KHKI) or similar as the colour code but that isn't conclusive as many civilian trucks would have been over painted by the army and in those cases the civilian colour code would remain . There was a colour called Wirraway blue , its code = WRWY used on 1939 Chevrolet Some of the colours are weird eg Coolangatta Cream, Oodnadata Beige, Bundaberg Beige |

Dlx Another DLX KHAKI tag Hmm what could this be .. 3 Ton GS model >? Looks like it has had a 'light stone' over paint over the dark green. |
