Photos of D43 Dodge ?
 

Can anyone post pics or provide a URL to photos of this truck ? A friend would like markings details for this WW2 Cdn. truck in naval service as his was originally painted navy blue.

You've got me there, Rob.

I have "D43" as a model code for a 1953 Dodge with a 228 cu in but nothing under WW2 Canadian either as civilian or built for the military.

I have some wartime DD and DE codes for US-built trucks sold as DeSoto, and some DD codes for wartime Canadian-built trucks with Dodge badges some of which ended up with Commonwealth forces.

Got a chassis number?
