Mystery bracket
2 Attachment(s)
I am trying to establish what this bracket may have come from, ignore what it is attached to, as I think it is a red herring.
It looks way to deliberate to me a hand made item, it looks as if it has been repurposed from another use. Anyone have any ideas? |
Mystery Part
Rule out it coming from an M37. It looks familiar but I can't say from what....

To my untrained eye it looks like a bracket that say an alternator arm would lock off against in the slot., something that needs some wiggle room for want of a better technical description. Maybe Mr Love will see this and comment . . .

It is not a red herring.
It is from a Alvis Stalwart. The bracket allows the height of the head light beam to be adjusted. |
