Dodge Weapons Carrier Hardtop
 

Hello, we are chasing one of the Dodge Weapons Carrier post war aluminium fabricated half cab hardtops to fit to the ex Leyland Brothers Dodge WC52 restoration. Many of these hardtops would have been discarded during restorations. Thank you.

We had one at Corowa when I was a kid. My research tells me they were a post war addition to vehicles purchased by the Victorian SEC. Who ever did the fabrication made an excellent job of it.

Thankyou Graeme, yes that is what I thought too. My father had one on one of his Weapons Carrier too in the 1950's and said exactly as you say, that they were well made. Expect many yellow Weapons Carrier with half cab hard tops may have had SEC history, with most of those hardtops being discarded on restoration back to full army spec. Interested to hear what others think on the subject. Regards.
