1943 Inglis Bren Gun

Hi John, nice bren but that anvil in the first photo would have to be the biggest one I've ever seen . A very very handy thing to have in the workshop.

Thanks for the reply gents, that anvil and cool car are in the shop of Charles Mathews. I was very fortunate with the assistance of Stew Robertson to purchase Charles stock of early style Sherman wheels which he had employed for house moving back in the day. This was also the origin of the Bren. Sadly Charles passed away in January of this year. I wonder what became of that fantastic anvil?

Nobody looking for a Bren Gun out there??? Is it priced to high? If you have offers let me know!

Offer from Grant of $500 bucks and 24 beer, reluctantly declined!
John, i would add a good bottle of Scotch to the offer and i could pick it up next week . Cheers. Bob
I told you it would be craft beer, I'm not cheap and wouldn't offer bad beer. I even offered the tequila upgrade.
Now sold, and no liquor changed hands to complete the deal!
Bob feel free to bring the scotch anyway...maybe I can turn up some other cool thing you can't live without!
