End of summer tank washing
5 Attachment(s)
Well as summer comes to a close I have decided to re-start my stalled M4A2 restoration...first step, get it out side and wash off two years of dust and dirt off the what was then "fresh paint"...where does the time go?
Sorry about how dark the photos are...they were actually taken at 2pm today but the forest fires have got us locked in perpetual dusk around here Attachment 93739 Attachment 93740 Attachment 93741 Attachment 93742 Attachment 93743 |

Hello John.
Great to see the beauty out of the workshop, what a wonderful restoration so far and a pleasure to see it first hand. Thank you!!!!! Those fires have been going for just 8 weeks? Cheers, Dave & Kathy. |
Hi all, yes nice to have evicted the family of rodents who decided the turret roof was about the best real estate in the shop...hard to tell from the photos Rob but I did my best to re-create that shade of green that we have spoke about and you received from Brian. I had several real good chips off of the M207 and had them computer matched then adjusted by eye in Dupont Imron. Dave the fires seem like they have been going all summer but yes I think about 8-9 weeks, of course we have never had any real threat here but the smoke that has come down from the interior and up from Washington state has made local air quality less than ideal
