LSVW - lifting on hoist, and other stuff.
Has anyone had an LSVW up on a hoist?
I know I have to build riser extensions for my hoist arms as too many things hang well below the frame. The after cab section of the frame is accessible for hoisting purposes, but there are obstructions for getting to the more forward section of the frame, the most obvious being the guard for the transmission and transfer case. It is removable for sure, but just wondering if there is something I may be missing, or a safe shortcut. Thanks |

I use a Mohawk Post hoist when working on the LSVW, the picture I have attached is a similar model. Sorry couldn't find a picture of a LSVW on a hoist, but will get pictures the next time I get one on the hoist

Thanks for the picture. I see the 10" or so risers you use. Are they needed to clear obstructions preventing access to the frame?
Also.....anyone know where I can get a drivers door key for the lsvw? |
Yes the steps, fuel tank and storage bin are even or hang lower then the frame

I do apologize for the delay, operation tempo has prevented me from getting a LSVW on the hoist. The hoist is using 10" risers to clear the distance from the frame to the lift arms allow clearing to the steps, fuel tank and storage bin.
