C60L 1944 on Gumtree in Queensland

Good Day,

Just saw a 1944 C60L posted on Gumtree.
Unfortunately I could not get a link to it to work on this post.

It is listed as "Time capsule Blitz" if you enter that into the Gumtree search.

It looks very original with original GS body, winch, canvas doors, and even an original mirror. Chassis and engine numbers match.

Located at Mareeba Qld and I think it is part of the Mareeba Air Museum collection. Seem to remember seeing it there 2 years ago.

Asking $16,500 + GST

Cheers,

I haven't seen that style of hinged tie-down rail before, are they original on Canadian bodies?

Although most of the CMPs I find in Canada seem to be missing their cargo bodies, I haven't seen any with the hinged tie-downs shown.

Agree with Grant.

Isn't this an Australian ACCO body or some-such?

Gumtree doesn't seem to be getting the required result, so this truck is now listed on Trade Unique Cars: https://www.tradeuniquecars.com.au/d...t-blitz-561638

But now the same seller is also listing a C15A Sigvan. Shame there is only one pic, it would appear to be a straight and complete vehicle and other pics would be interesting.

Blitz body

With regard to the C60L

Body is a drop side GS Australian body 3 tonne built by Holden's Body Works.

I will bet the little build plate on the centre of the rear of the tray is there and would confirm this.

Have seen that tie down rail on several now of the same type but does not exist on all of them. Mine does not have them either.
