Bendigo 2004

The Bendigo Swap Meet was held last weekend, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger, although there is far more general "old car" stuff than MV, there are quite a few of us who either have stands or visit.

The link above takes you to a page of images I took whilst trying to take it all in at a fast walking pace through the mud as I only had a couple of hours to try to see it all.

It would have been good value if relatively unworn (and part of a set of 5).

This photograph was on the board of the Historic Commercial Vehicles stand. Does anyone know who belongs to it? The load of a Carrier would make driving interesting! You'd be wearing it if you ran into anything.

I know this isn't military, but it was rather appealing...

Who else was there? What did you find?

This is after the guy from the old Pakenham military museum unloaded it. Think he got sick of the cold and loaded the whole lot of his gear and moved to Queensland or was it Dubbo ( bloody Alzheimers).
By the way the Historic Vehicles display day is on again at Sandown Park Melbourne on Sunday 28th of November. See you there guys.

Not me... I'm going to give the lot of you the s***s flying in the 02 with Matt Denning formating on us in the Boomerang, as well as the Spitfire, Catalina and possibly Col Pay's P-40 which has yet to fly.
Bear in mind of course I'm filming it for your benefit!

Stand by for the s**t-eating grin pictures!

Thanks for the details on the F60L.

Looks like a Firestone Ground Grip 9.00-16 Cross Country tyre (should carry the letters C.C. on the sidewalls).
In Europe €30 wouldn't be too bad, it would display nicely as a spare on a 15-cwt truck.
