Stuart and Sherman temp gauges
2 Attachment(s)
One NOS gauge offered: (Sherman gauge on left is sold). Stuart M3A1 oil temperature gauge, about 12’ capillary $US 125. Detailed part numbers on request if the photo is to faint.

M4A4 doesn't use a capillary gauge, all instruments are electric. I think it's for M4A2.
|
Adrian , you are right , if you look on the Cardboard box it says in handwriting M4A2 with a GM number .
|
Maurice, yes, when I click on the picture, it's clear! Good spot!
|
Thank you Adrian and Maurice for catching my error. I must have grabbed the wrong parts book of the shelf when I tried to confirm the final description. On Sherman parts I have only "book learning" not practical knowledge! Brian

PM sent regarding Sherman gauge

Those are some pretty high temperature numbers on the Sherman gauge. What sort of pressures were they running the cooling system at?
