CAR assignment
 

Had this document sent to me. It came out of LAC. Note that many of the CAR numbers being assigned fall within the blocks of numbers assigned to the 1/4 ton trucks. Perhaps this is why the Jeep CFR numbers exceed the production numbers. I am sure this will be of interest to Brian and others, who have been collecting and trying to rationalize CFRs of the Jeeps.
