A number of carriers for grabs in the UK

I suppose I can’t say I am not connected to some of the sellers, everyone here is I guess)

1st Carrier is from our very own Nigel Watson.... can’t believe your selling this Nigel !?

A well known carrier we can all agree on !

Next carrier is a T16 (for those that prefer tillers over a proper carrier )

The last one is a Canadian Mk2 belonging to Simon Delaney from here.

Interestingly marketed as an uncut hull, yet has repro gunners left protection plate. Simon, what’s the low down on your carrier matey ?

So a few canny carriers out there for those looking, happy hunting.

Cheers

Richie

that's my old T16. i bought it from the seller as a shell then sold it back to him as a part restored project and i'm now thinking about buying it back off him again :)

Misleading

I have have seen other photos of the Mk2 for sale , some of the front armour is not genuine . As for the engine and gearbox ... it might well be a V8 but it’s not out of a carrier as the guy o know who went to look was told .

Rick you going to buy it back ? Looks like a nice carrier matey

Superb .... FFS, I do not believe it for a minute.

The narrative appears to describe a different vehicle.

An uninformed buyer may find value in having an independent inspection report done by someone with detailed knowledge of carriers. As the seller indicates: “hard to find original parts”.

... “Universal Carrier with a superb 1944 dated uncut hull. NOS tracks, running 24 stud engine with gearbox, rebuilt bogies, new set of linkages, rebuilt brakes and all original dated carrier parts restored and painted ready to fit. Many years sourcing hard to find original parts- all you need to do is assemble it . ..”

Blimey ! Why do people do this ?

Lynn Eades 13-08-18 08:10

Maybe they can't stand the idea of hanging by their feet, to assemble it :)
