No there wasn't a date John but I would suggest it may be around late 1943, the Jewish brigade were deployed in Italy by 1944. A lot of second hand kit was passed to the Brigade as some British and Canadian units were withdrawn back to the UK for the second front.

Having read a bit more about the creation of the Brigade the poster could be as early as late 1942 in Palestine or possibly date from mid 1944 when the Brigade formed a separate entity within the British forces.

Hello,

I'm not sure this excellent poster is related to the Jewish Brigade. The fact that the recruiting centers are located in Palestine is not sufficent, many British people were there as the League of Nations formally awarded Britain a mandate over Palestine in 1922 which was under direct British administration until 1948.
All known posters for this unit are bilingual English/Hebrew.
There is an Italian booklet about the Jewish Brigade :

Cheers from France,

The ATS branch of the brigade was initially formed in Palestine in 1942 along with several RASC units. The early units were mixed Arab and Jewish, unsurprisingly it was found that there were problems with this form of unit composition so that after late 1943 the Brigade became Jewish only and then went on to fight with distinction in the later battles in Italy from the late autumn of 1944 onward.

Peter,

No, I did not - well spotted. Haven't seen them in that position, only on the roof - see the attached pic.
