Crankcase ventilator valve
2 Attachment(s)
I’m looking for one of these crankcase ventilator valves. They show up on both the Chevy 216 and Ford flathead V8.

Check Jeep suppliers.....
Same valve used on Jeeps.....see Peter De Bella....about $25 US....nos...

Bob, it's not the same. Dodge and Jeep ones have a male thread one end and a female the other end. See the first picture in Grant B's recent thread.

You could just replace the male-female pipe elbow (18712) with a double female elbow and use the common one from the Jeeps/M37/M151.
One avenue to find an original is to look at originals and see if they have a commercial part number on them. |
Rob, aren't these things sort of matched to engine capacity? if you don't use the right one, surely you would end up re jetting a carb to get the engine to run right at all throttle applications? Probably if the QMC ones are the same(?) for the Jeep and Dodge then they are a compromise? They may not have the same internal part? Is the QMC part number the same?
