Hi everyone , looking for a bit of info on the tail gate latch system on the Au 3 ton chev lend lease vehicles, tried sqizzing through some pics but not too much to help. A friend is currently building sides etc for his truck and wants to be sure that the retaining system is correct eg chains and hooks or some other ? We have a Woodville tray on a cmp but the retainers are the rotating handle type ( were these around back then?) Any advice would be appreciated , cheers Dok

Hi Shaun, nothing in the box old son, can you have another go at it? cheers Dok By the way I have since learnt that these vehicles were in fact fitted with the rotational type gate locks.
