Airdrome Utility Trailer, Type F-1
3 Attachment(s)
Hello Folks,
Need a little help here. I found some data on a "Trailer, Airdrome Utility, 1/2-Ton, Type F-1" in TM9-2800. It was supposedly used by the USAAF, and towed by Truck, 1/4-ton, 4x4 (Jeep?). I also found it listed in the below copy of "Classification of Equipment for Inventory Control", so it was apparently still a stock item in 1953 (or at least, hadn't been de-listed). Aside from this, no other information. :confused Does anyone have any further info on this trailer? Or even some in-service photos? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Owen. |
I've been looking as well. I haven't seen any. Nor have I seen any pictures of the 4 wheeled F-2 in use. Although some examples of those do exist. Although most are post war units.

There's the remains of the F-1's big brother here, but maybe you've already seen this thread? ;) https://forums.g503.com/viewtopic.php?t=239265 Owen. |
Owen,
Thanks. Indeed I have seen that thread. I'm Rustman on the G forum. Matt |
