Seen around Brisbane streets in 1942 these US military vehicles . The Willys MA being a rare sight anywhere.

brake vs gas peddle

I bet the rear ender was related to a panic stop and hitting the gas instead of the brake.

It's a 12 cab. Not much room for army boots. Could have aimed for the correct pedal and got all bungled up.
