Glass headlight C15A
Hello gentlemen,
We bought an C15A and because it was driven in the UK the headlights are for left side driving. Who can help us where we can buy the glass for the headlights? Thanks in advance, Michiel |
Which Pattern 11, 12 or 13
Hi Michael
Which Pattern C15A and also does it have the early separate reflector, bulb, and lense or the early sealed beam type with a bulb inside or the later sealed beam design? Reason I ask is that each of my trucks had a different version. You raise an interest question though, are the lenses of the lights designed to cast the light to the right or left depending on side of the road the vehicle was intended to drive on. This might explain why the replacement (NOS) lenses for my Pattern 12 had stickers saying EXPORT on them. Will have to look at the other old head light units to see if they are marked in anyway right or left hand drive. Cheers Phil |

Michiel,
I don't know if you have found a solution yet....but I bought replacement Lucas headlights for my cab 11 from Angloparts. You would have to check the diameter, as I am not sure cab 13 is the same. But new round headlights are still made by several manufacturers for British historic cars, but also for Lada's. This will also give you the option to choose more modern lighting if you want to.....and they offer the LHD vs RHD option. https://www.angloparts.com/nl/search?q=headlight Alex |
