Blast from the past: my F15A at the IMPS rally July 1984 1 Attachment(s) Dave Boxall shared a picture of my F15A. This is the oldest picture of my truck that I know of. “Another blast from the past! Lovely to find out a bit more of the history of your F15A, Hanno. It does look good with those Track grips..... |

1 Attachment(s) Thanks Alex, yes Trak Grips look nice although these seem to be a little skinny. I've looked up what history I have on it. In 1984 it must have still been owned by a Mr. Sidney Bolton. He reportedly bought the truck off a farmer in the 1960s, who in turn had bought it at a Ruddington auction in 1949. Mr Bolton had tidied it up to use and sold the truck in 1989 to Alan Levell who first fully restored it - see pic below and read more here: http://www.mapleleafup.nl/cmpfordf15a/ Attachment 121557 |

2 Attachment(s) Just found out that back in 1987 my truck was owned by IMPS member Danny Lester. In the IMPS Vehicle Directory I see another familiar one, the F22 once owned by Brian Nunn is now with Lauren Child. Tony Sudd’s F15A is now with Niels Vegger, I believe. And a Ford staff car now owned by Ian McCallum. Here's hoping that LAAT is still around somewhere, too. Attachment 121592 Attachment 121593 |

Blast From the Past Hanno, it is nice that you have some of the history of your F15A and that the vehicle is still being well looked after. ED |
