Fish oil as a preservative

If you don't have enough shed space and you have to store one or more of your unrestored gems outside in the rain .

At discount warehouses here in Australia you can buy pressure pack cans of fish oil for $ 3 a can .

Spray the fish oil all over the rusty exposed parts of your trucks awaiting restoration and they will not rust any more .

Make sure the surface is dry before applying the oil , it soaks into all the nooks and crannies and it will last about 6 months before another application is needed . For a CMP you will need about 5-6 cans I think .

The downside is the truck will smell like a fishmarket for a while .

Yeah, but wouldn't you feel like a BASS for spraying that stuff all over your truck?

Sorry, I felt a fish pun was necessary. I guess you could say I fell for it...... hook, line and sinker....

Stop me before I pun again... hee hee...

Tim
