Vacuum power brake parts
 

Hi all

I’m searching for the following parts for a Chevy/Ford Vacuum power brake assembly. Mine is partially complete and appears to be missing just a few parts.

These parts do cross over to the Ford parts as they are identical. However I only have one of the Ford numbers.

4.9011 GM 5269500 Ford C01QF-1914 Cylinder shell assembly Qty1
4.9042 GM 5269516 Plate, power brake cylinder Qty1
4.917 GM 5269515 Spring, power brake cylinder piston return Qty1
4.9283 GM 5269517 Bolt, power brake cylinder hook Qty4

This is what I do have still mounted on the vehicle. If someone is more familiar with this and notices I’m missing something else please let me know.

I am afraid that I have come up empty for parts, but my 1940 Chevrolet/GMC shop manual does show the same type of vacuum cylinder as an option for power brakes on 2 to 3 ton conventional and cab over trucks.

You could enquire if they have the other components, but I would also try Brian Ashbury.

I think the Plate 4.9042 and the Hook Bolts 4.9283 could be readily fabricated (plate) or adapted (Hook Bolts) once you have the Cylinder to give you dimensions. Just leaves the spring to find.
