Chorehorse Carb
Years ago i found a chorehorse to restore
http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data.../IMG_44683.JPG but the carb have parts missing http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data.../IMG_42323.JPG I have tried to reproduce the missing parts, but without success http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data/2188/IMG_42391.JPG Any store to buy new one or any other carb to replace the original? I was thinking of using a chainsaw carburetor, which also sucks the fuel from the tank ... Any idea or help are welcome! Thanks in advance! |

Can you give us more information . Are you hoping to have the Chorehorse running or is it a a cosmetic rebuild.
I do have a few NOS spares but Not a carby . I could have bought a whole truck load of NOS Chorehorse parts at Bill Drews yard but that was 40 years ago . |
Hi Mike
Yes i want make a running restoration. Carb work with extra upper gas tank. The front valve is the problem to sucks fuel from lower tank. http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data...orseBook23.JPG |
There was 3 recently on ebay. However checking today I can't seem to find them. They are the same as the BSA 300watt generator.

To help your search -I'm not certain whether they are 100% interchangeable but Johnson sold very similar engines under the Iron Horse name. This might get you a "close enough" part.
