Ford F60L with 5D body

Ford F60L advertised for sale on behalf of the son of the deceased owner with whom I was acquainted.

This Ford was fully restored in 2017, the engine reconditioned in 2018; electric wiring was renewed in 2021. It runs on LPG.

Motorblok Flathead V8 is volledig gereviseerd in 2018 (5.250,- Euro).
Elektrisch is volledig vernieuwd in 2021.
LPG installatie op kenteken.
6 volt accu systeem.
Een mooi goed origineel exemplaar.
Deze auto is van 30-06-1942.

What's going on here? Is that an LPG/Propane set up?

While no doubt a cost saver, it's not something you normally see on a MV.

An LPG setup indeed. The larger HMV trucks in the Netherlands like GMCs and 6x6 Dodges often run on LPG as a cost saving measure.
