So much for standardisation and rivet counters wringing hands. Here is a photo of jeeps lined up at Mourmelon in northern France in 1946. I can make out 6 bonnet numbers quite clearly and every one of them is different!

Seems like all the spare wheel assemblies are missing from these vehicles.

Not only that but the one "front and center" is missing the front bumper and appears to have a registration number starting with a 3?
