5.5" Field Artillery / Medium Gun
 

Currently looking for a 5.5" Field Artillery piece to go behind an Albion CX22 Artillery Tractor. Ideally looking for a serviceable piece rather than a restoration project, can be a rolling restoration but don't have the capacity for a full rebuild.

Any leads appreciated (UK only please!!)

Bit of a long shot....but, have you tried Saracen Exports? I remember they had some Polstens and Bofors 40mm guns for sale a couple of years ago......can't remember if they also had 5,5inch guns.

Unless I'm mistaken, owning such a thing is now banned in Canada under our Leader and his new Liberal laws. Once the law is ratified here, it would have to be turned in, to be scrapped, although you might get some compensation for it.

Marc, not so. Deactivation is on the books as far as I understand it.
