20-cwt trailer: 1945 Dominion Military

Heads UP.
Can’t seem to post a link to a Facebook marketplace ad but recently saw this trailer there.
1945 General Service trailer CMP type listed. Appears all there in need of restoration.
The seller recognizes it for what it is and does not want to scrap it.
Priced at $350 in Woodstock ON.
Perhaps a more tech savvy person can figure out how to attach a link or pic of the ad.

I had the sister to that trailer. If you look at this trailers data plate, it is on an AID-CHI (aid to china) and dated Nov 45, so it's technically a post war trailer.

I still have that trailer, but in modified form which we use to collect firewood from the local forest.

It is one from the 1945 AID-CHI contract indeed. This is proof that the early 20-cwt trailers had a wooden body, while the late ones were steel.

The AEDB Design Rcord confirms this. When discussing the 20-cwt trailer: "The first trailer bodies were of composite wood and steel construction."

I hope someone picks it up before it is scrapped...
