I had the manual for it at the time. 500 Watts of carrier power ! The set below the Beaufort is a AT5 AR8 , used by the army as W.S. 118 or 112 can't recall. Fitted in the CMP sigs vans Aust. Interesting detail of the Indian Pattern Chevrolet Ambulance.Despite being built in reasonable numbers, It's such a shame that almost none of these ambulances have survived intact. Left outside in the elements, the wood and fabric construction method wasn't long lasting. Hopefully, somebody souvenired the shiny brass plaque. At this point in time, STC were busy manufacturing the W.S. 109 Field radio.
