Nice find at the KTR Militaria Beurs today: “Long Immersion Instructions for the 105mm. Howitzer Motor Carriage M7 (with additional armour)”. Dated January 1944, with additions from August and September 1944. Lots of nice drawings with colours indicating which of the various sealing materials to use.

Nice! I have a PDF of it, with handwritten corrections.
BTW, for those wondering: this is the British instructions, and their deep-wading kit differed rather a lot from the American type. |

What else do we know about Long Immersion and/or Wading Instructions? Was there a (major) difference between Long Immersion, and Wading and Waterproofing?

I found these two images for the Sherman V mixed in with some showing the American kit (ref.). Attachment 133241 Attachment 133242 Plus "4-Ft. Wading Instructions For Carrier, Universal F.T.
