RCAMC Wireless Communications
Something I have always been curious about is to what extent, if any, the Geneva Convention dictated the amount of use that could be made of wireless communications by the RCAMC with regards to its operation of Medical Field Stations, Hospitals and ambulance equipment.
My thought is that open R/T and uncoded CW might have been permitted but coded messages would not have been acceptable. Alternatively, no wireless communication at all might have been the 'none combat status' norm. David |
It doesn't answer all your questions but search for "wireless" in this document.
https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/th...vices-1-en.pdf It seems the first equipped were field ambulances. |
