Damaged Bakelite Pocket Watch Holder
 

I would like to find one of these from which I can salvage about a 1.25 inch diameter section of the flat back of the holder that is screwed to the wireless set.

They appear new old stock on ebay from time to time.

Yes, and I purchased a couple a few years ago for my 52-Set for a very good price. I was surprised to find they were original 52-Set stock when received.

I do not really want to destroy a perfectly good one for what I need. They are getting hard to find and the flat backs on the holders are the exact thickness I am looking for to cut a disc out of for a mini project I am wanting to work on.

The broken ones were common as mud here a few years ago but maybe have all been tossed by now.

I'm fairly sure I have at least one (on a badly-hammed WS22 supply unit) that you can have. I'll take a look (also a screwdriver and spanner) tomorrow.

IIRC the side is broken but the back is intact.
