Otter Original Builder for Jordan
1 Attachment(s)
When I got my TA out for a wash on Fathers Day my son Clayton took a picture and a video and posted it on Instagram. A friend of his responded that his great grandfather John “Jack” Callaghan worked on these vehicles during the war. Jack worked in GM from 1915 until the late 60’s. Gosh it sure would be nice to talk to him now and pick his brain. He sent my son this photo of his great grandfather but I am not sure which one is Jack. The photo is used with permission and I would like to thank Clayton’s friend Chris.

Hi Barry.
Thanks so much for posting the picture. I do so wish we could pick the brains of those who built these machines…. One of the RHLI Museum volunteers told me his uncle had worked at Hamilton Bridge pre war and during the entire war and then into the post war years. Sadly long since gone. |
