Still looking for solid disk T16 wheels...

Howdy,
Well....I can't get any response from "John" on his wheels,
I suspect they are Bren Carrier wheels anyhow. Have never heard of U.S. T16 wheels with "Oval Holes"...??? So if anyone has any extra NOS T16 solid wheels for sale please let me know.
Thanks

Response

I did PM you back. I specified the price and the condition. Yes, they are Bren Carrier wheels, late style replacements. I assumed you were looking for Bren wheels since we are on a Canadian sight and the Canadians did not use T16's. No offense intended.

Woah, John! We DID use T-16s, primarily to tow 6 pdr antitank guns. Not many albeit, but some documented nontheless plus other uses. How about this? Lake Superior Regiment fellows goofing around after war's end.

48th Highlanders, Holland, 1945. BTW, the chap is still with us. Previously they towed their guns with 15cwts, and hated the carriers because of the lack of room in them... :)

Corrected

I stand corrected. Again, shows you what ASSuME really means. My apologies.

Just to throw my 2c in I need a pair of spoked bogies appropriate for a Canadian MkI.

I don't even have the wheels, much less rubber!

Thanks,
Mike

wheels

I have some worn out spoked wheels. Rubber needs replacing. I did not have good luck finding anyone to re-do the rubber here in the states. If you want them, call me at 952-440-8778.
