Next is "living large" in those days. A Garden Party at the US Embassy. My Dad said they lived better on a Captain's pay in China than he did as a Colonel in the US.

This last will probably not work but it is a 1/100 clip of a much larger picture of a car park at the railroad station.
For David, the vehicle is a late thirties Chev Imperial Sedan. With a glass, you can definitely identify it on the original pic. They were everywhere!!! |
