This is a line-up of trucks from around 1951 owned by the County Donegal Railway. Is the Jailbar Ford an ex-military one do you think please?

Late model 43-44,methinks ,David..
Like to see a close up of that hood -chrome arrangement to be sure ..the front matches but there was a longer chrome strip that ran back to front on the 42-44 models that I don't see here..
About 3-4" above the chrome strip that you can see...

Try this..

What capacity would this be...1.5 tonner? Apparently a Ford was bought new in 1945 so it could be a '44 Model.

The front bumper looks North American military-style to me, perhaps Canadian [right hand drive]?

David
The military only had 1/2 ton and 1 1/2 ton ratings on that style of cab truck..
So it has a 1 1/2 ton Military rating..
