Small town Memorial Day Parade May 30, 2005, small town events seem to embrace the idea remembrance best. Members of our local group participated in eight parades this weekend.

Nice to see the photos, and I agree with you about small communities seem to embrace "the spirit" of remembrance best ... although I'm still stunned at the turnout for Ottawa and the emotional and sincere respect, moods, and energy of the parade goers. I truly wish you all could have seen their faces and heard their words as they approached the carrier to shake hands and speak with the Vet riding on my side of the carrier.

PS: I'm starting to like all these big old military-ish green things on wheels and tracks and things :eek: :D )
