Rail Gun?

Is this one of those huge German Rail guns? Looks like it is sitting on tracks, note the crane chains on the upper left.

I am thinking this might be a rock crusher, any ideas, confirmation, or corrections?
All of these photos came from a collection of snap shots that were sent home by my father and uncle who were both in the RCE's |

Tar sprayer
I'm with you Richard,
If you look to the left upper corner of the machine you can see a small jib with a tar barrel on it. Pete PS had any nasty shocks in the thunder box recently??!!! :D :D |
