Dennis Walker from st. Catherines ON.

There was even one of his repros for sale at the Adamaik auction - so it will be up for grabs shortly at a gun show in Ontario.

Stay tuned.

I don't think that Dennis has any more, but if the demand is high, I bet that he could be convinced to make more.

A little bird told me that somebody was making copies of the brass mounts - who is interested, and for how much$?

Bren Mount

No Stew,I will not sell that mount at a gun sale,as a matter of fact,I'm looking for another bargain priced bracket for my other bren.I'd be interested in repro-(brass) mounts if anyone is banging some out. Cliff.

Dennis Walker ,phone; ()%-(#$-%#& .

Very good reproduction

I've seen Dennis's posts and they are very nice. They are the perfect device to attach the ultimate bren gun accessory to your Inglis or Enfield made Bren gun.

Cliff,

Thanks for reminding me who grabbed that pole - and thanks for the machete scabbard too!;)

I think you know person whom is casting them thar brackets.

I will keep my ear to the earth about more Carrier goodies - heck I even had a guy ask about buying that MkII* of mine. What should I be selling that for anyway??

I got a Bren gun AA mount from Dennis. It's very nice and my carrier looks very cool now with the Bren gun mounted for AA defence.:salute:

I'll be needing one as well. When someone finds out if they are available, let me know.

I'm that there guy who is casting the original bren mounts.
It was a quite a while to find one then a quite a while to do the extensive pattern with core prints and all the core boxes but all the bugs are worked out as of last week. PM me for price if your interested.
I'll post pictures tonight... and ...Brad, sorry for the delay.

Rob,

Let me know if my theory on parts pricing was correct or not - I suspect that you already know the answer ...

bren mounts etc.

Guys,

Ask Jordan , he's seen the brass first hand when he came to Barrie to get some parts for his Carrier!

Stewart, you've got to be refering to the crazy prices (or fat wallets) at that friggn auction!

Hi everyone

Yes I did see the brass thingys at Robs place. They looked really great. I know from casting experience that a lot of work has gone into them and it really shows. It will be nice to have these available since the original are rather hard to find.

alleramilitaria 23-04-06 03:49

ok great....... how much???? :D

BIG MIKE 23-04-06 05:26

WOW , thanks Brad They really look good!!!! your a pleasure to deal with mate, to bad you wern't a broad:), I think i'm going to stick with the 2 bren stem mounts at the timebeing placing them on the right side and rear, hook up a .30cal mount stem behind the driver and find an extra bren stem for the engine top mount witch i made today, i'm going to try to make the smaller pogo stick since the AA pogo is usless in re-enacting. But i would like any pics you lads have on how the .50cal is mounted on the front gunner position. Cheers lads
