With the introduction of P37 web, the spelling of intrenching tool became entrenching tool.

Credit to Brayley's "British Web Equipment of the Two World Wars, Europa, Militaria No 32", sold by Service Pubs, (but not currently available).

So, Bruce, why are you parting out some of your valuable uniform collection? Need money for Fox parts...dancing lessons for Tori...sending Colin to International Exchange...keeping Valerie happy...?

BTW, I still have the Ford Mk I Carrier Instruction Book. Refresh my memory...did we strike a deal somewhere along the line?

Bruce Parker (RIP) 22-10-05 15:11

Yeah, we had a deal

You'll recall we agreed that you give me the manual and I say thank you.

Or was that the deal where I chomp at the dangling shiney lure and you reel me in like a trout?

No, nothing so dramatic as parting out my collection, though cash for the Fox rad would come at a good time. I had to buy a 'set' in order to get some goodies, the rest is extra. And really, just how many sets of '08 web does one need?

Bruce,

I am not sure if I qualify for 'tall and slender' - do you think that this uniform would fit me?:)

" a 39 inch chest "??

- you better believe that I was kidding - I haven't had a 39" chest since I was in grade 7 ( BOTH times;) ).

Hell....The worst 3 years of my life were grade 10.
I never even dated a girl with a 39" chest.

That's Peter's hat size.

C 15A Wireless

Bruce, Tks for reply re above. I bought it because I need a 15 cwt cab for my HUP to convert it in to a C 8 AX. I understand that they had a 15 cwt cab on them & I haven/t been able to find one so have bought this truck.
All I need is the cab, running boards & pintle, so I have lots of truck to get rid of. I may have to wait until spring to start parting it out, but that's OK as I still have brakes, etc to do before putting on cab & body. Let me know if you think that this cab won't work on a HUP chassis. Many tks,
Bill Spence
PS am I reading ur ad correctly re selling Fox??? If so, send me pix & details, price, etc. Cheers, B
